Manufacturing process
Step 1: draw the design drawing.
Step 2: select leather samples.
Step 3: cut the leather sample.
Step 4: splicing and assembly of leather samples.
Generally, in the final process, the leather is first wetted again. Then one or more protective materials such as wax, oil, cotton wool, casein shellac pigment, and various synthetic resins are applied.
After the protective material is applied, it is usually necessary to glaze the leather. This process includes pressing the leather through a smooth steel or glass cylinder.
In the final process of soft Lamb leather, a roller wrapped with sandpaper is required to rub the side of the leather close to the inner skin to make the leather appear fine.
Lacquer leather refers to thin calf leather, goat leather, and other fine leather. Spray several layers of lacquer or urethane plastic to make the leather surface very bright. After each coating, the leather shall be baked and finally polished.
Finally, other methods can be used to change the natural texture of leather. Rubbing is to fold the textured side of leather inward so that the textured sides rub against each other to form a unique texture pattern. Embossing is pressing the embossed plate on the textured leather surface to change the natural texture pattern of the leather.
